Default 757/767 Headset Ideas

I have the plantronics molded earpiece I’ve used in the MD-80 and A320 series and love it - just curious how quiet/practical for the mid-sized twins! Any ideas would be welcome, but I’m trying to maintain what little hearing I have left without going to the big bulky headsets.

Thanks!

Bose just announced these. I'm looking forward to trying them out, though I'm in no hurry since I really like my Bose X's.

The Plantronics earpiece will be just fine for the 757/767. It's what I used and didn't have a problem. The airplane isn't that loud and there's no hot mike provision for the intercom, so an earpiece will work just fine.

I use the Clarity Aloft. Works great. Its not nearly as loud as the 73 where I had to have a full ANR headset.

How easy is it to hear the other pilot with the clarity aloft?

If you can't hear the other pilot, just take out an earplug. All the benefits of a single ear and dual ear headset.

I fly with just one of the ear plugs in. Works no problem.

Kinda ruins the idea of hearing protection, though :/

No. The other pilot who isn't wearing a good headset ruins the idea of hearing protection.
