In the early days of the airlines, thats exactly what this would have been called. Read Flying The Line sometime. It should be required reading for anyone who wants to play airline pilot.
I have and … uh … no.

You sound like a recruiter in management. I'm sure everyone sees your comments in the proper context.

11 days off but commute on at least 4 of them.

bottom line = less than Breeze
I was getting at their bonuses.. 30k for captain or upgrade, 70k to flow, and another 50k paid out over 2 years...

You list out commuting expenses and no per diem on rsv? I didn't realize that didn't apply to breeze too. I'll give you alpa, but everything else on your itemized list is irrelevant- as if everyone at Envoy is commuting and no one at breeze is.. whatever happened to your live in bonus? Min pay guarantee during training?

actually given my responses the position from which I’m responding would be better referred to as promoter, not recruiter.

those bonuses are optional and come with a pretty hefty price tag, from what I’ve heard.

no reserve lines at Breeze right now.

breeze is giving a commuting stipend now, to everyone.

I don't think Breeze is a scab airline. It doesn't exist to get around anyone else's labor contract etc etc.. it's just an airline sold to pilots as the next jetblue. And because of that, everyone is taking in the teeth on pay and benefits. Neeleman hasn't even delivered on the original value proposition.

1) do you have 220s on property? Yes.
2) do you have pilots in 220 training? Yes.
3) does that make your rates relevant? Yes.
4) do you have a current rate for them? I think you do from what a buddy told me. I think it’s a blended rate (ie the same rate as your abysmal 190 rates).

please correct any of the above, as I don’t work there, just trying to get some info in case I want to put in an app there.

A non union startup aimed squarely at the unionized LCCs? A SkyWest with big planes? This sort of thing was discussed in great length in Flying the Line I and was always challenged or unionized. Long & Harmon, Century, and Texas Air come to mind.

I see your point. I just think it's more of a competitive advantage manufactured by low wages and exploitive hiring practices with the college kids. I don't think it's comparable to what happened with gojet.
