If I get hired, am I able to choose to not do charter? I want to live in base and do shorter trips - like, nothing longer than 4 days. If I am forced to do charter, I’d rather go somewhere else
It’s all seniority based. You bid for bases or to be in the charter program. The charter stuff has been successful with the commuters which I would say is half the pilot group. So if you’re willing to move to any base, you should have no problem getting day trips.

Okay, great. Thank you! One last question… How are the A220 trips? Mostly 4 days or there are some shorter ones too?

You're right, it did.

Nothing in that post was inaccurate. They didn't increase the pay while the ALPA vote was taking place and ALPA had nothing to do with the raise. It was solely the companies decision.

There are times when a union is necessary, this however, is not it.
man this didn’t age well. ALPA was voted in and years of back forth while pay remains frozen didn’t happen…

How is seniority within a class determined: last 4, age, or lottery?

Class seniority is determined by a lottery system.

Most airlines provide DH transportation in that situation.
IDK, somehow they figured out a way for it to be. Everything has to be expensed though. And I have actively been looking online trying to figure out how they are doing it but they are adamant that it will be non-taxed.
