Additionally for code sharing, the marketing carrier only receives a small amount of the revenue to cover the cost of advertising/booking the flight. There is no lucrative financial benefit to offering a codeshare.

Not a fee for departure carrier. Definitely not a major carrier. Not a network carrier....
With any luck..Not a carrier at all.

Why do you want them to fail so badly?

I think he already has a better job. Nobody who's established likes a startup, just how it is. If they survive, they'll get bought and merged and then complain about the SLI.

Heard the same tired arguments 20 years ago about B6. Still to this day, “when JetBlue gets bought or merge’s.” Well here B6 is 20 years later and still independent (mind you tried to buy VA) but very good growth prospects post Covid.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out for Breeze, but my guess is they will do just fine during the recovery with a nice A220 fleet that is very low cost.

B6 may not remain independent for much longer. Goldilocks... they are big enough to be a useful M&A partner, but not too big to swallow and digest. Same with AS. Same for NK and F9, although they probably need to be kept in their market-niche swim lanes. Allegiant is probably safe.

Ooooo lawd! There’s gonna be some salty legacy pilots when they buy Breeze and see 2yr seniority pilots slotted next to senior narrow body guys.
