Timing is everything. For once in my two decades of paid aviating I’m near the front of a hiring wave at a company with record stability.
Exactly, timing is everything. A guy hired at SWA today is going to be behind those 2000 guys for the rest of his career. AA has more retirements and hasn’t hired as many pilots over the last 4 years.

Ok. Thanks for the career advice. 🙄

I believe it. I’ve seen boards for FOs that work the system paying an average of 150/month.

Agree. It’s not hard to get a big total with a little block. Especially this year. Lots of reserve sitting at home and a lot of deadheading. A third year FO can clear 250 if they live in domicile with a little extra effort.

Seriously...why would I lie on this forum of know it alls and egos?

I averaged 154.98 trips for the year.
229,759.92 earnings
30,081.02 NEC
24,993.94 Profit sharing

730 Blocked hours

You want me to send you my pay statements and SWAPA profit sharing calculator and employee number lol?

I am very junior...we had a senior FO in PHX make 405k on his W2. You obviously aren’t working it hard enough

Yes...company put 30k in my 401k. I put 18.5k in and the profit sharing maxed out the 55k max for the year in retirement. Rest of profit sharing was cash.

Thx. Well done by the way, that's a really good block to credit ratio. My buddy made 155k there last year (year 3/4) but he's a commuter.
