End of 2019 salary survey

And yah this dude provided plenty of information. That he made plenty of money while working 9 days at a regional airline as an FO while collecting money from other investments.(probably paying significantly less in taxes) To mean it sounds pretty straight forward and he seems to have a better formula to making money than you and I. So if you feel this thread is useful that’s cool. But it’s still just a flexing contest. Everyone knows who makes the most and who makes the least. Would it matter if the dude worked as a nanny 1 day a week? Nope not one bit.
I've never really understood peoples disdain for talking about pay. I think that a lot of information can be garnered out of these threads, especially for those looking at where they want to work...even if you're already at your desired company, I think you can learn a lot. In the past, these threads have caused me to chat more with friends at a particular airline about things in their contract. I would actually love to see a breakdown of W2s even within my category. I wouldn't even care to know names, just general seniority, as that would tell a lot! On people who worry about such things would consider it a measuring contest.
Yes, defined contribution. It's what the company puts in your retirement account.
As a WB FO that did a little research on jumping to NB CA, that jives with what I figured...~3 days/month more than I average now. For now, the pay jump just isn't worth the extra days worked.

I dunno. I just did some research. The last full year on the 777 I worked a total of 140 days. On the Bus I worked a total of 144 days in 2019.
Those extra four days paid $10,000 each at the end of the year.

Yeah you didn’t need to be anywhere close to a top 100 number in 2019 to get multiple cold calls or VDAs in either the 190 or Airbus captain seat. Seniority didn’t matter. Those winter Irops, the Easter debacle and summer were quite the spectacle.
