"Every JetBlue and SkyBus pilot should be ashamed at the endeavor they are involved in."

Well this is no worse than Regional Pilots coming out of college and accepting 20K a year.

I’ll add to that… any pilot who is willing to work for subservient pay should be ashamed. This includes those who took up the old wazzoo in accepting pay and benefit cuts at their current carriers be it the legacy or regional carrier… can’t exclude them from the airway of shame.

that's why there should be one contract or a minimum $ amount per pilot/seat so that this doesn't happen again. management would then be held accountable and not put it on the employees for the survival of an airline. this will never happen because pilots are self centered and greedy.

The local NBC affiliate had this on the evening news. The video was interesting - it showed happy people who did not seem to mind paying for all the extras or driving all the way to Bellingham.

Um, Pinnacle pilots are not undercutting the industry. Since 2005, management has offered crappy/concessionary contract offers, and PNCL pilots have told management to go pound sand! Management sent overnight Fedex letters to pilots' families, telling them how Pinnacle could lose all of Northwest's business if the pilots don't agree to sign the company offer contract. Lo behold, Pinnacle gets a new ASA with NWA last December, 2006. Still, Pinnacle pilots have not accepted a sub-standard contract.
Keep fighting guys!
