I think they have hinted around to what may happen but no one knows for sure. I think we are starting to level out our staffing being that HVN will be junior for time to come and you’ll have to wait for attrition or base growth to transfer.

Thats understandable. To bad that’s the Jr. base. I know that trying to get there could be a real challenge. I’m guessing most pilots are flying into Hartford then driving south from there if they don’t live close by.

It’s not a hard commute, if you live close to one of our cities it’s easiest to catch our flight, if not there is Bradley and drive down if you have a car. Other option is New York and take metro north to new haven. Our schedules are only commutable on one end hopefully down the road we can work on that.

New hire classes every month, if they are expecting a delivery in 2 months they plan a big class 2 months prior so they hit the line with the deliveries, everyone on property as of a couple weeks ago got their first choice but I think that stopped with this months class. So depends on growth and where it is but I would imagine maybe a couple months after you hit the line at this point? We are due for another base bid I would imagine by the end of the month

"union at Avelo?"
Out of all the places I worked for (and there have been a few), two companies I joined from pretty close to the start. Both times I was treated really well, until things got worse, around year 5/7, and then I didn't get treated right. And there was nothing we could do except try to start a union after the fact. Every 121 in the US is union, and has been around for multiple decades. I mean, I have only been in aviation since March 1990, so what do I know? You guys have been doing this for months.
For me it’s because I work 7 to 4, and I’m home for dinner every night while making 250k plus a year to fly a 737 up and down the east coast. A CEO that has live meetings with all crew members several times a month to update us on our progress, take questions and allow us to interact with all department heads. And an added bonus of not having to give any of my money to a union for now and hopefully well into the distant future. (Not downplaying unions as some companies definitely need them) Those are just my thoughts and experiences, others may very. However you don’t see many comments from our crew members bashing our company. And yes you have to be willing to take a risk and be flexible.
