We have PreCheck and the Clear through AMEX
We buy tickets with the pre check number so it’s on the boarding pass.
We use the Clear kiosk to avoid any precheck line, if one.
Clear agent brings us to the front of Precheck line ahead of other precheck customers
Without Precheck you’re still subject to the non precheck clothes removal etc
We have toddlers so we seek the path of least resistance when traveling

I have never figured out how it is better than pre check. You get precheck for free with global entry why ever use clear and how did they somehow manage to build a business within a government screening. The entire thing doesn’t make sense to me.
