Question AAL or UAL ??

When it rains it pours.

I am holding a CJO to United, and a CJO to American. I currently work for an AA wholly-owned, and live in Chicago.

So... both airlines have bases in ORD, and both are good fits for me.

I'm curious what some of you think are the plusses or minuses for each company. Why would you choose one over the other in my situation?

This should be the end of the thread. Seriously. Nothing much more to it.

who calls the plane “the jet?” Seriously. I mean, I’ve heard it a couple times here but any time there is a non normal we say “my aircraft” not “my jet.” So if anything we tend to use “aircraft” vs “jet.” I haven’t legitimately heard anyone saying, “hey I’m heading down to the jet” or “what jet are you on?”

Another made up AAism?

That said… yes. Go to UAL in your case.

What, no one is going to talk about debt? Not that they know anything about how corporate debt is structured, but hey, it sounds cool.
