Ehh…I’m not that old. I would like it to be raised. Not right away…..but maybe in about 10-15 years or so.

Newsflash: we are all greedy. The people that don't wan't the age raised are just as greedy as the ones who do want it. greedy for QOL and keeping the fast flow or upgrade, so the same thing. to oppose change because it negatively affects you has the excact same motivation as to want change because it positively affects you: greed & selfishness. normal human behavior that both sides exhibit in equal amounts.

It would only be greedy young pilots if there was a faction pushing for Age 56 (same as air traffic controllers) or something.

Just because there is no inverse call for the the age to be lowered doesn’t invalidate his point. And based on multiple comments on this thread, it would appear if there was any way that would be entertained rationally, there would be those who would celebrate it.

Pushing for 56 is the exact same thing as pushing to keep 65. Any age is pretty much arbitrary. Your resistance to change is because of your greed and selfishness. It took me 20 years to break $100K as a pilot, and 5 of those were because of age 65. You know what I didn't do? Pretend that I was angry because it was unfair to other people.
