Pithy, well reasoned, and to the point.

I contacted them and supported the opposite, plus donated $5 to their future re-election campaigns.

Checkmate.

(Democracy is awesome. Or is it?)

I said before and I'll say it again. This will pass because there is no risk to their political futures to support it and passing it lets them say "hey look, we did something".

Tell that to the organized group that pushed through the 1500 requirement after Colgan crash. They are very much in opposition and making noise.

Neither are. It’s natural attrition that ensures a pipeline of new pilots. Gatekeeping on the upper end.

Exactly my argument in favor of no mandatory retirement age. If I can pass a robust and thorough class 1 physical 2 or 3 times a year then there’s no reason to be pushed out.

What hat did you pull that out of and did you get a free rabbit with it. The Colgan families aren’t against increasing the retirement age. That organization stands to ensure inexperience and fatigue stay out of the cockpit and thats all they stand for. Please stop spreading propaganda

I haven't heard a peep out of them.
