That I don’t know, I knew him but not well. I had only worked with him once. But I’ll say that it really didn’t surprise me that he was the one who did it.

now, my other question is when I give my two weeks notice do they usually let you carry out your remaining two weeks? and if something happens where they push back your class date can you kind of take back your two weeks notice?

and this next question is probably more so for Spirit Airlines, since we are incredibly overstaffed on pilots; I have heard when you put in your two weeks notice you are immediately let go (but you still get the two weeks pay) is this still the case?
Do you have a financial ‘transition’ fund that will buffer the loss of income due
  • class delays
  • Training pay /MMG
  • reserve
  • blah blah blah?

seriously. I dealt with the employee gates that day as well. I wish I had driven the truck as I would have gone right through it.

He’s the shining example that all pilots senior to me should aspire to emulate.

nope.
I can’t remember a time where I thought to myself. “I need to make sure my axe is in my trunk, cause after my trip I will rampage.” Nothing to do with being chicken $7!t, I’m not wired that way. To be fair I don’t park at DEN so the frustrations in my life might pale in comparison.

Maybe I have screen names mixed up, but weren't you the one following ExCargoDog around on this site like a little puppy? And you two were Spirit's biggest cheerleaders? Both trashing AA on a regular basis? Or am I thinking of someone else?

the old CargoDog is a United fangirl now, I’m sure Halon is close behind on that journey…
