I am not sure, I may just retire from Qatar in another 17 years or I may come back to the states to mentor kids who dream of flying and sponser some financially. Required base is Doha, which is the safest place to live in the world. I am also pretty ok with investing in stocks and may open an investment firm catering to pilots. I am actually pretty good at it. Many things I'd like to do or do nothing at all n just retire. One thing I'd like to tell my fellow aviators is that you are worth every cent. Whatever the case, fight for neurosurgeon salaries when you negotiate, not a penny less. After all. you are responsible for dozens of lives at a time. Of course most of us just love the flying but make sure you get compensated well for it.
And what do non-management Qatar pilots make? Mr. management pilot?

Underpaid.

$160,000- $190,000 FO

$210,000-$300,000 CA

Tax Free, All in, for non-Americans.

However, it's the best flying in the world.

He’s got a good number here pegged as serious. These are also probably the same folks who can’t tell what’s an AI video or real.

US Navy F18 pilot on shore tour
Year 8/9
Days way from home: 3 months total on detachments

$89
K base pay
$20K housing allowance
$3.7K food allowance
$7.8K flight pay
$4.5K Uncle Sam match

Total comp: ~$125k

Trying to get out as soon as possible but the Navy keeps breaking their promise. Was 2 years but now 3 years before i can get out due to "policy" changes to the "wings plus 8 years". Grass looks greener everywhere else.

Slightly less tangible compensation: Mil retirement credit.

When you do move on make sure you finish out in the reserves, otherwise that's a lot of points going to waste.

I actually found these posts helpful when I was making the decision to leave Air Force and make the jump so I guess I’ll contribute now:

AA NB FO - live in domicile. Lineholder for the last 5 months

6 months yr 1/ 6 months yr 2

- worked 126 days
- blocked 673 hrs
- credited 840 hrs

$130.5k of flight pay / $19.4k DC 401k
ANG military duty - $37k

$187k - easiest year of work in my life.
