It will help everyone looking up the ladder if people accurately state number of duty days for the month / year in addition to big numbers.

Indeed. I never understood the dim views some take on this type of thread.

I already know exactly what my end of year 2024 pay will be. Many airlines pay November excess in the end of December paycheck.

Here for the annual argument about whether an unused reserve day counts as a day off or not 😂

On the one hand, you might be at home in pajamas watching Netflix. On the other hand, you can't have a beer. Tough call.

So it’s not like someone is going to use this thread in order to decide whether to go to Delta, United, American, Southwest, or Alaska. The way things are going, they’ll be lucky to get a job at one of those carriers. The days of getting hired at 3 of those 5 carriers are gone.

So this thread is nothing more than self bloviating, sprinkled with lies.
So don’t open it and read it. Simple.

For the rest of us it’s very interesting to read. Yes, please include number of duty periods worked as well if possible.

But a duty day is a duty day. No need to hide it.

Kinda like the red eye or cargo or long haul pilots who boast " zero nights spent in a hotel " even though they spent 14 nights a month on the road.

It isn't quite intellectually honest.

I've done the following in the last 2 months.
1 day greenslip
2 2 leg, 2 day trips jfk-cali-jfk both times.
Venice off of short call.

I've had 5 unused SCs this month. This is how I've spent them.
1 assembling Christmas Tree
2 painting my bar
1 hockey game (did have uniform/bags in car)
1 sleeping
