I’ll preface this by saying I’ve always had good experiences passing through the Cuban airspace. They’re generally polite, the radios aren’t that bad anymore and they usually accommodate… The flights in and out of Cuba were usually normal island flying…
But at what point does their government say “why are we spending gas and $ keeping the radar dishes turning ?” Just to keep Yankees flying across our island to their vacations?? I’d expect ATC to degrade pretty soon unless something can be worked out .

Heck Havana's comms are better than ZAB's. Crap repeaters and the early handoffs from LAX. No biggie for me, I can wait 2 or 3 min and call, but the "ive called you 3 times" from them has gotten old. Sorry your comms suck. Write your congressman.
