Another United Hiring Question
The other United hiring threads are getting pretty long, so I thought I would start another one. I got the e-mail to schedule the lasergrade test yesterday. Am I correct in understanding that this is another psyc. test? And if so, is it another test on the computer, or is it an actual person sitting in front of you asking you if you do strange things to your dog with a fork?? I guess my real question is, is it on the computer or in person?

Yeah folks, It's just another psyc test on the computer. No tech questions at all. It's very similar to the first one you did. You can't study for it. It's not a threat.

That's right - just parts 2 & 3 of the Hogan Assements that you have already successfuly completed online. You should hear within 3-4 days. I was asked to interview 3 days after the assesment. Good Luck to you!

Long wait
I had a longer than avg wait on getting an email for the phone interview. Sounded like most people got it rather quickly after the first psych test. I also had gotten an email that nobody else received, which gave me the impression that they were giving me the heave-ho. I wouldn't worry about it.

I just did the second psyc. test on wednesday. I just got an e-mail from HR this morning saying that they are evaluating my qualifications and if we can offer you any encouragement that they will contact you about the next steps in the process. Has anyone else got this e-mail? It doesnt say "sorry, there are more qualified applicants" or anything like that. I dont want to read anything into it. Has anyone else got this e-mail and still got a call for an interview?
