Nice job, I'm impressed. Hopefully I'll get a piece of the pie soon enough. Money is always a good motivational tool, do you guys think the incentives work out well for the other employee groups too?

Since the other employee groups cuts weren't as large, their cut of the profits isn't as great. It's a shame oil is cutting into our ability to make a larger profit, especially since our industry is finally on the comeback. CAL estimates it costs us $40,000,000 more for fuel for every $1 increase in a bbl of oil. The "experts" were saying that there is $20-$30 of WAR premium on each bbl of oil right now. I guess this war is costing us a lot more than soldiers lives............. It'll be interesting to see when and if this war ever ends if there is a significant drop in the price of crude. Maybe we should start charging oil people a "crack spread ticket price" to recover a bit of this absurd jet fuel raping. BTW, I got around $8400 as an 8 year FO, but as stated in an earlier post, it's computed off your yearly earnings. Welcome aboard and enjoy the career!!! We're glad to have you!
