Default Crash pads in Atlanta

I start training with Delta on 21 Jan, just wondering if anyone has any info on Crash pads in Atlanta. Any info is appreciated. Oh by the way, got hired Nov 1st, ok to train letter about 3 weeks later and am in the 21 Jan class.

Nate,

I am also in the 21 Jan class. As you know, they pay for the hotel during indoc the first 2 weeks and from what I understand there are plenty of crashpads being advertised at the training center and there is plenty of time while you are there to set that up. I guess we will see.

Also, you can go to www.crashpads.com and take a look at some of the crashpads there. You can only see a few of them unless you pay the $15 then you get to see the rest.

See you in 2 weeks.

Default Thanks

did not know they paid the first two weeks, just wondering how did you know that? All I have received from Brian is the message he sent by mistake to the class starting today. Anyway thanks again. Also, are we going to get a couple weeks off after the indoc class? Look forward to seeing you in class.

Your official invite email tells you about the hotel cost. As for time off after indoc, don't think of it as time off. Think of it as time alloted to learn the systems. You will get your systems cd on day one and you will have to have it complete before the first day of ground school. You are expected to learn the systems on your own prior to class.

Nate,

Mr B sent me two emails. The first one looked like it was meant for the 7 Jan class and the second one said "Sorry about the mix up...see you on the 21st."

The first email (the mistake) actually had the welcome letter attached to it and the second one did not. Go back and look, if you don't have it, post back here that you need it and I will get it to you.

A friend and fellow Delta pilot owns one that is great, cheap, and doesn't require a car. PM me and I'll give you the contact info.

As for everyone else who needs an ATL crashpad, please feel free to PM me as well.
