Can someone from Northwest tell me the phone number to call to list for a jumpseat. Every agent I have tried keeps giving me the number for Northwest pilots only. Thanks.

That's because you --as an offline pilot--can't list them. You just have to show up. First come first served.

Just a shout out to NWA pilot crews, f/a's, and gate agents. Northwest has always been very very very good to me on my long, often two leg commute. I am always impressed and humbled that I am so well taken care of as an off-line regional guy schlepping himself across the country. Thank you, it's totally appreciated.

Hi!
You CAN call the NWA 800# and list yourself, as an ID-90, for example.
Some of the gate/counter agents I've met like it if you're already listed, even though you're not listed as a JS-all they have to do is change the info to JS, so I guess it saves them some time.
You can also check the numbers of non-revvers via the 800 number. Loads are available at nwa.com.
I have had almost 100% excellent experiences with NWA employees while jumpseating.
Also, at the vast majority of the airports in the US, you don't need a gate pass-just go through security and go to the gate. I know that in GRB, PNS, the AA terminal in DAL and either ELP or LRD (can't remember which one) you DO need a gate pass from the counter.

I second MrBigAir. I commute and have 3 options but I almost always end up on NWA. The pilots and flight attendants are always fantastic and very accommodating. I also have to say that I personally find NWA's policy of making you actually show up at the counter is the most fair way to do it. Nothing worse than running across 3 terminals after a long trip, thinking you're the first one there, then finding out that some other offliner listed from the outstation and is ahead of you for the seat. First come first serve is the way to do it.
Thanks again and in advance to NWA!
