I'm with you Otto, this is much like all the hubbub over mergers. Until it happens it's alot of hot air (or wasted electrons in this case).

In the meantime, we need to stay strong and not by into the culture of fear "they" are trying to create.

I don't understand why everyone keeps this furlough rumor going. Did the company come out and say that we are going to furlough or we are thinking of furloughing this fall? This was all started by line pilots, which in turn just is a scare tactic against our own. Our management doesn't even need to say anything and our pilots will start spreading doom and gloom while management sits back and laughes at us.

So as Ottopilot said until the company comes out and says anything than it's just a rumor and we keep going and working on an industry leading contract.
