Blue Cross or Kaiser if you live in California I think. Don't know exactly off hand, I want to say 125ish/paycheck for you spouse and kid(s). My wife's was cheaper so that's the direction we went.

Unless you have absolutely no other choice stay away from VX.
Yes you heard me,stay away! You will never upgrade. This is without a doubt an airline that is clueless and operationally mismanaged.
although it started out with the best intentions what it's become is a disfuncional group of misfits and typical "crystal" gazers trying to justify it's own existence!
An ever increasing staff of competents are jumping ship for greener pastures leaving "new age" wackos arguing over who's steering this ship of fools.
The training department is in disarray(what training department?) No flight standards manual...hell there isn't any flight standards.Why the FAA gives this group of misfits a pass I don't know! The Check Airmen(and I use this term cavalierly) make it up on the fly. So good luck on that next check ride! Hope you and the CA are on the same page....wait there isn't a page.....
I do believe they will survive just for the simple reason Sir Richards ego won't let anything tarnish his brand.
Then in this present enviroment it's "any port in a storm"...right?
