Dollar for dollar relatively the same product and an extra 30 minutes of travel time... people would be nuts to shell out an extra couple of grand each way just to save the 30 minutes.
I run into both EOS and Maxjet pilots at VP9 at EGSS and the Black Lion in Bishops Stortford. Guys are a lot happier at Maxjet than EOS.

Been awhile since I've flown to GB. I assume that EGSS is Stansted, but is EGLL- Luton or London City? There is a bus service called National Express that runs from Stansted-Heathrow-Gatwick. Takes about 1 3/4 hours from Stansted via Heathrow to Gatwick. Longer, by far, than the train, but NO bag drags. By the way, anyone heard of the fate of the Ryanair crew that landed at the wrong airport while approaching Belfast?

Ryanair was not the carrier that landed at Ballykelly airport, about 5 miles east of Derry. The unfortunates, who were flying an A-320 are employed by Eirjet. Eirjet was contracted by Ryanair to perform Sub-service on their behalf. What a shame… with all the automatics, paper charts, computers, FMCs and approach briefings…
There is express train service from EGSS to Liverpool Street Station, which takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on the situation.
National Express has bus service to London City Center. Rush hour traffic on the M11 is worse than the LIE or I-5 in LA on their worse days.
Either way once in London either a taxi or tube ride will be required to get to the passengers’ ultimate destination.

Thanks for the identifier clarification in GB. Been a few years since I've flown in there. Usually spend a month every year near EINN. Never say "never" about landing at the wrong a/p. We had someone land a DC-9 at an AFB near Alexandria, La., instead of the regional a/p. To compound the misery, the capt. told the pax that due to construction, it was easier to take off and land again than to taxi, which he did. The FAA got him for NOT filing a flight plan. He got some time off w/o pay to re-think his actions. There also could be some confusion down here in Fl. where there must be hundreds of a/p's along the East coast with E/W runways. Almost got sucked into FLL exec. one time until we noticed the ILS course didn't line up. KEEP THE SHINY SIDE UP !!
