Default Rumor about SOC. Has anyone heard this?

I spoke with someone who is married to a dispatcher. They seem to have some specific date when there will be one singular dispatch. I wonder if anyone has heard this and knows the date Delta is telling the dispatchers.

Well, they already have a single seniority list and single contract. Do they also have to wait for SOC to merge? I don't know.

Yes, and it is sooner than anyone expects.
The dispatchers just signed a joint contract and are going down the same road the pilots did.

SOC will be sooner than most are thinking. I am looking forward to a big bid ina few months.

You're always so full of good news!(Well, hopefully it will always be good)

Let's get it done ASAP, and start raking in the savings of synergies!

I am thinking the SOC will be next summer. Is it going to be sooner than summertime. Maybe April?

I've heard it might be around then. I've heard that time is a very good possibility.

Just what I need. The SOC comes in April and then Delta announces DC-9's going away and furloughing 10% of the list. Those furloughs effecting premerger Delta.

They are hoping for the 2Q 09. Everything is on track for that. I am sure it will be almost no notice.

Look for revisions to your pubs in the next two months.

I would like to see it sooner rather than later...It is just better to get going and learn where we will all end up...

Also, I want a nice profit share check next year!

Honestly, if they are going to park any airplanes soon, I think they are going to be bigger then MD88s. Plus, I don't think it will be for that long, and there will be NO furloughs. Just wait and see.
