It's all a mute point. Gary Kelly has already said he is not honoring the side letter 32 on our current contact concerning codeshare and growth. What makes everyone at SWAPA believe he going to honor this contract?? I got news for everyone, SWA management is going to do what ever it wants. Management has the top lawyers in the country and yeah, not to mention the best aviation attorney to ever live, Herb.!! This contract will be littered with loop holes for the company.

Nice work guys. Amazing what unity can accomplish. When someone at SWA has the breakdown of hourly 737 pay for the new TA, please post it. I'd like to show my co-workers at CAL how much they should be paid. Thanks.

Lance Capt allows senior FOs who can not hold Capt in their current domicile (but have gone through the upgrade process) to bid senior FO lines, give away the juicy parts that other FOs want, and then pick up Capt trips in giveaway or daily or monthly open time. ELITT, electronic line improvement trip trade, is trading trips with the company that are outstanding.

Word was that the company was trying to get rid of the lance program. Apparently it skews their staffing model a little. I'm glad we're keeping it.
It is certainly a win win for the pilots. Especially the junior captains who can give away a weekend 3 day if they need to.
