How about if everyone treats their colleagues respectfully from the start to the finish, then there would be no reason for apologies in the first place. Allegheny, thanks for your posts. Sully and Neil Armstrong were supposedly the quiet, serious types. And Neil had his moment of doubt too... on short final to mare tranquility. So maybe there's something to be said for that personality when the chips are down.

Never said you said anything of the kind… just making an observation how one group of people get bent out of shape regarding statements about other who members of another group. On the surface from your statement, Sully was rewarded, by the current administration, for his public opinion.

Nah, it just makes him a liberal from SFO. It’s probably why the liberal media glorifies him, and it’s obviously why he was awarded a meaningless position. You hype the group, they reward you with the good ole boys club access. This is just normal political crap that goes on with both parties. I wouldn’t be too concerned with the matter.
