False, I didn’t ACUSE him of anything. I ASKED if he went off script and how he treated others beneath him.

It’s also difficult to be blinded by curiosities when I could literally care less of his political views, so that’s a false accusation as well.

I think it might be past your bed time.

You lead off with a list of “wrongdoings” mixed in with a lack of systems knowledge for the aircraft involved. Then you said you had “heard” he was leading candidate for the no-fly bid. Then you threw in a weak question if anyone could confirm, not that you cared, as you stated. If you truly were wondering, and not slinging mud, you would have asked a generic character question. It would appear, from other posts in this thread that you would have received an answer.

In a later post you state he was only given his new post because of his political views. Now you say you have no concern for his political views.

It all comes across very conflicting, but as you said, it is after my bedtime…

Ice, how am I suppose to ask a question about something I’ve heard from both that day, and his personality without specifically explaining what I had heard, and if it was true?

So let’s get this straight, you’re telling me he was not given that position for being a liberal and a Trump critic? Maybe a few years from now he goes back to being a conservative, nothing wrong with that. Did you miss the part where I stated this stuff goes on for BOTH PARTIES? Calling someone a liberal or conservative shouldn’t automatically act as an insult. It was not meant as stating an insult, it was meant as fact. Thanks for the reminder to why we don’t discuss politics in a flight deck, some people are just too sensitive.

Btw it probably is past your bed time 😂😂.

What an absolutely disgusting point of view. You should be ashamed of yourself.

And what’s your point? He “literally” admitted he doesn’t know what he’s talking about and is just slinging $hit against the board here to see what sticks. I’m just pointing that out. I didn’t say anything I would feel the need to apologize for.

Why would you need dual citizenship in a perfect world? You would pick the USA to work in if you lived in a perfect world?

Well...why don’t you obtain dual citizenship?

And then...continue to work here. I guess.

Because the other country wouldn’t be good enough to get citizenship in and then work there?

So even in a perfect world you would still come here. Got it.

Yeah in a perfect world your preferred utopia would also offer robust economic opportunities. Wonder why that's not the case?

Unfortunately it’s not that easy in our line of work. Im handcuffed here with my career at this point. If I could go fly for AC (they openly hired/sponsored expats) I would absolutely consider it. It’s not an accident I had exactly 104 overnights in Canada when I flew for the regionals I can assure you.

In the meantime, if allowed (but isnt for the most part) I would happily reside north of the border pay their taxes and be a resident.

I used to live and fly for an island nation in the Caribbean a long time ago. Ive kept coming back yearly since. When I purchase a home there in the next few years, I’ll be halfway there as I can stay 6 months of the year.

You can enjoy and appreciate your career here in the states, a career that I have spent my entire life working towards and is my passion, yet also not want anything to do with the living and raising a family here. They aren’t mutually exclusive.

As for your questions about what transpired in the cockpit, I bet someone somewhere has compiled a lengthy report… Maybe that could answer your operational questions without slinging mud at the guy.

You then add in some third-or-further hand account of him being a jerk like it matters whatever point you are trying to make.

Then, finally, in a third paragraph you add your question so that you can feel like you aren’t just being a troll. I can only assume you’re upset about his past references to regional pilots and are trying to discredit him because he now holds a position in the government. A position that you also discredit as meaningless and a hand out from the club.

Nice work with the bedtime insults, because everyone knows only the smartest people stay up late.

Sully held a position in government when “I attempted to discredit him”, that’s news to me.

And yeah clearly we have a certain group of pilots who think being a prick in the flight deck or to individuals beneath them doesn’t matter.
