Has anyone heard what the plan is for the future of the domestic 767 categories at DL? Will SLC and ATL convert to ER in the near future? SLC is a small category, and with two other 767 bases now on the west coast, along with two more in the midwest, and NYC and ATL 7ER now doing a lot of domestic flying, will SLC lose it's 767 time altogether? Discuss...

The easiest way to get the most complete info is to just put "One Great Team" in the search function after logging into Deltanet .

Beware. There is definitely an art to using these things. There must be a (T) fare available between the cities you are flying between. The agents dont like to have to hunt for these fares, but some are nice....otherwise see below.

The easiest way to check this is by going on Delta.com and selecting "Book a Flight". The available fares change every day so all because it's not bookable one day does not mean it will be the next. Also you might have to try different airports. I know the small airport near where I live that has no Low Cost Carriers never has any of these (T) fares. So in order to use these passes I will be driving 2 hours to an airport that also happens to be served by AirTran. I think the fact that there is more competition make Delta offer (T) fares in that particular market.

Once you have the flights you can call ( I think its just the 1-800-My-Delta, there will be a prompt specifically for these passes once you dig yourself deep enough into the system) and book.

It really is kind of a pain, but I'm happy to have them traveling to a pretty popular destination this summer. Good Luck!

Yes. I should have said that. I'll go fix it. The list looks acurate, but uses our senoirity numbers from back in January.

Thanks! Anyone remember the expiration date on these things?

Just some ideas.
The MSPM88 base even though is open, a lot of the flying is still being done by SLCM88 crew (our old originating base). Trips are mostly one leg to ATL, and then in and out of ATL for 2-4 days, and one leg back, or DH. They are converting guys at a glacier pace, and I'm just stuck at the bottom until close to the end of conversion. And from this last AE, the system should've allow me to leave this category for another because it didn't satisfy my % requirement, but because of all the unfilled vacancies, i'm being the bottom until said unfilled vacancies will be filled by new hires (perhaps, unknown in 6 months). Frustrating that's all... sorry about the rant.

It was initially a three year gig - so I believe its sometime in 2012. But if you are looking on putting it off for a while I would look for an exact date.

Ok, I just looked at this projected list and there are a lot LESS positions filled on several fleets then before this AE. For instance, we had about 270 DTW 320B's and this projected list is showing 206 in January. Same with MSP 320B. There were roughly 300, and this list is showing 260. We all know there were a large amount of MSP M88B slots left unfilled as well.

Is there even a remote chance this list is somewhat accurate?? Is it possible newhires will be going straight to the A320, M88, and maybe even the 73N?
