Thumbs down Hard to Believe

I agree that's probably a record, but I'm still amazed (and disgusted) at how fast the "money men" destroyed Midwest Airlines.
Maybe Mr. William C. Rogers, Sr. was involved in that as well. I really feel for the Pace group and simply cannot fathom a company been totally destroyed in 110 days.

G'Luck Pace pilots

a company that had over 50 mil in gross revenues in 08 and a very happy customer in Continental Airlines . We could install the Live TV systems in less time than the Live TV people. Our mechanics , most of whom were former Piedmont/US Air are (not were) some of the best Boeing mechanics in the world. the legacy of Pace is that some of aviation's best ,brighest and fun people to work with have lost their home..so to speak. many of us thought of it as home...

NC Department of Labor is going to demand that all former employees are paid their back wages by Sept. 25th. If they are not paid by then, the process moves into the courts. I'm sure everyone is hoping that they receive what is rightfully theirs.

From information I've been given, this is correct. I've also been led to believe that the four (4) B-737-200 aircraft will be returned to Triton at Love Field either today or tomorrow and the FAA Part 121 operating certificate will be surrendered by the company today or tomorrow at the latest.

As I said before, it's beyond me that one single individual, no matter how incompetent, ignorant or egotistical could destroy a company (any company) in less that 120 days. I hope that the information that EatinRamen provided is correct. Those responsible for the demise of Pace will meet their maker one way or another and they deserve everything they get. Would love to see Mr. Rogers & Richardson led out of their hotel in handcuffs !!

I've seen everything now.

G'Luck to all Pace employees

I've been hearing the remaining crews were furloughed today and ALL operations were officially suspended at noon. Can anyone back that up?

What's next, bankruptcy protection? I would imagine there are a whole lot of unpaid bills (inlcuding payroll). Or maybe the fire sale can now begin?

I guess 373PA will also be sent to the leasing company at this point.

Normally I would say this was done intentionally, i.e. assets were worth more than he paid for the company, and so he could make a return on his investment by dismantling it. But Pace had no real assets to speak of, so it must be incompetence.

one strategy in Bk court would be to split it up and sell, recapitalize the MRO 145 side. that is where the money is... that is the engine that drove it.
