Short answer....Yes & No.

On the B756 there is no designated seat (number) for crew rest like AA has. Once all the upgrades and rev. have been assigned, then the First Class cockpit crew rest seat is assigned. Having been on AA and seen the curtain that the AA guys/gals have, we do not have that at CAL.

If rev and upgrades have checked in full, then the flt deck crew rest is religated to a row of 3 seats in coach....I did not slur, yes COACH. Does it happen?? Yes....very often....No. Been on the equipment for 2 1/2 yrs doing mostly "x'ings", and have been in coach on rest 3 times.....3 times too much. I have heard stories of cockpit crew members getting wake up calls from pax asking for another Coke!!!

We can thank the negociating of Contact POS '02 for this little "beny". This is unacceptable and can be quite the safety issue. This is something that supposedly the neg. comm. is working on as we speak in the contract that is being presently being negociated.

As far as Int'l over-ride at CAL....what's that???

When I flew CAL from BCN-EWR a few years ago the pilots took their breaks in 1F on the 757... not sure about the 767.

Go to work Flyer!

For Delta, International pay does not include Canada.

“International operation” means a flight segment to or from an airport, or between airports, located outside the contiguous 48 states of the United States.
Exception: A flight segment to or from an airport located in Canada or Alaska will not be considered an international operation.

International pay is:

Captain $5.20
First Officer $3.90

Effective 1/1/2010:

Captain $6.00
First Officer $4.00

That's also for anywhere outside the 48 contiguous states...

Thanks everybody,

Looks like we're right there with you on Canada, not included in international (not sure why) pay. Mexico is but Canada not, any ideas?????

Our International override will be going to (when this thing passes):

Captain $5.00/hr
First Officer $ 4.00/hr

Thanks again for clearing the fog in my head.
