Laughing stock of the industry. Wise up!!!! You really need to go to that better company. No Kidding come fly with me and I'll show you how gate agents and sys ops run my ship. They can both go **** themselves I call the shots when I sign the paperwork. For the record I'm pretty content working here. Pay could be much better!!!
That's great that you're content working here, people have different standards. Don't blame me for seeking an increase in my career satisfaction. Who knows, this other airline might never call... and that is why I'd like to see us gain some teeth and a real CBA. Unless you're a top-seniority Bus CA, JetBlue is a stepping stone. |

This airline is a joke. OSC brainwashes newhires with our "values based" culture, it seems to work because people like Mike seem to be happy commuting across the country to work for peanuts. I've seen the PROPOSED pay rates, I've also seen the change in out premium trigger (might want to take a gander at that) and the fact that I don't believe anything this company does until it actually happens.
I don't know your senority Mike, but how about all those bus FO's we hired off the street. I bet your buddies who were waiting for a bus slot loved that. There are no rules here. Senority is nearly a suggestion. Ask the ex. CP's with garbage senority who are flying th E90 for Airbus rates. Hmmmm, that's a mystery. It's nice to know that some CA's at JB actually stand up for the respect they've earned, but the majority let the gate agents and sysops run the show. I can go on for days with stories of Captains who don't stand up for what is right and let this "everyone is equal" cluture erode their authority. I've seen JB and I want out. I'm swimming in the pool at another airline but who knows if that will ever happen, until then we need to unify and get what we deserve. A 'direct relationship' is not the way to go about it. I really am ashamed of my fellow pilots. We are the laughing stock of the industry. |

Apparently CRFguy's position is shared by many! Could it be that he has issues with the apparent lack of respect, power, authority, and parity because he's gained corporate intelligence and has valid concerns? Maybe he should be taken seriously instead of being shown the door. JJ Give me an example of the lack of respect, power, and authority. I do not know how parity fits logically in this sentence. Please explain. And what do you mean with "gained corporate intelligence"? |

Parity with aforementioned peer set and "gained" as in "acquired".

The problem is not with the "peers".

The problem is with your dismissal of CRFguy's claims. Corporate and competitive intelligence reveals strong evidence to the contrary! JJ |

JJ When you quote me you should be using the entire sentence or paragraph. so here is what I said. "What do you mean by no respect, no power, CAs having no authority, and bottom of our peers? None of this is true." It appears you take issue with 25% of my statement. Now in light of the CBC report we are certainly not at the bottom of our peer group. You might want to recheck your intelligence. |

You might want to recheck your intelligence. Very clever Sir. But, not so fast! With respect to corporate intelligence, the mere circulation of intra company "proposals" does not change an employee group position relative to their peers. You can make that claim if and when you actually sign a new contract and receive significant enhancements! Until then, the bottom is a lot closer than the top! This would be one result of having no power. Can't say I'm interested in discussing any more issues. JJ |
