Your post evidently implies that JetBlue is an unsafe airline, yet in 10 years of operation they have had zero accidents resulting in injury or lose of life. How do you explain such a safety record. Once again, we have another post with absolutely zero credibility. If you like please pm me the names of the pilots who you are refering to. I can assure you that our training department is pretty good at weeding out weak pilot candidates.

Why would I complain, I knew just like every other pilot that came here exactly what I was getting into. I knew the pay rates, I knew the benefits, I knew the aircraft I would be flying. And yes every one of them was better than Mesa. You were right I did not vote for the union, not because I thought we didn't needed it, but because I believed it was the quickest way to improve things and i knew we could always vote one in next year and I would rather be negotiating from a little bit better pay and work rules than from what we had last year. btw did you check your email today, tell me how much of a pay raise did you get? I got a 32% raise!!! and it looks like the new 190CA rate starts at a higher pay than RAH tops out at after 20 years. I am sorry if you think I drink the blue juice, fact of the matter is when I got hired on every airline was hiring and I had the time and experience to go to any one of them. But I only applied to my number one choice and that was Jetblue, I am here because this is where I wanted to be. If I wanted to be somewhere else I would be there.

Well if the pay the pvc put out today is true then 1st yr 190 CA will be more than RAH tops out at. The thought of regionals flying 70-90-100 seat jets sickens me, the sad part is there is some kid beating off to the thought of flying one for CFI pay.

So what is the new 190 pay scale?

Pay raises sound great. I hope you guys did well - can you post the rates here?

320 CA is at or above industry average starting 2nd year at $140 topping out at $158 at 12 years, E190CA are 90% of 320CA starting 2nd year at $126 topping out at $143, FO's are anywhere from 50-68% of the captains. Premium pay is gonna trigger at a higher hour, looks like we are gonna get duty rigs, TAFB rigs, minimum average daily credit of 5 hours, and also night rigs, international overrides. Plus some increases in PTO, and some changes in STD & LTD, but it does not look like any changes in 401K contributions. Over all it looks pretty good starting point, all of us 190 guys got a pretty huge raise. It does not look like its set in stone yet but we are all retro to June 1st when it does get all finalized, the biggetst problem is this is exactly what should have been done last year.

Honest question- Why is this where you wanted to be?

Do you value your experience and education? Because if you do the regional wages offered on the REGIONAL jet you fly are a slap in the face by the company. This company likes to bill itself as a major but pay like a regional. I'm sure this place seems like heaven if you worked for Mesa, but do your family a favor and pull your head out of the sand. It's a joke that we are even comparing rates with other non-major carriers.

YOU are exactly the type of pilot the company wants, someone they can attract and brainwash during indoc. @ OSC.

We are treated with no respect, we have no power, we are simply a means to get a hull from A to B. The CA's have no authority, we are paid near the bottom of our peers, and WILL never get what we deserve without representation. The company will keep throwing us a bone every 5 years just to shut us up.
