Similar to the numbers at DAL AFTER the merger.
Understand your point.

But that's going on the assumption that if there was a merger, NOBODY gets cut due to possible trimming of overlap, etc. I know there's not much with UAL/CAL just like there wasn't much at NW/DAL.

But with BOTH those managements (UAL/CAL), I'm just sayin'.

You can order all day long, but until the call of V1, rotate with UAL painted on the side means nada.
Minor detail, but........with pilots on the UAL seniority list flying them. Then, it'll mean something.

You may be correct. Personally I don't agree, maybe I'm too much of an optimist. If you want to use the EI IAD to MAD as basis then you have a point to some extent. However IAD to MAD has been flown unsuccesfully in the past by UA, Spanair and Iberia. Seems alpa could have made the same noise when we left ORD to DUS and it was then flown by LH. We have added numerous international markets since that took place.

Also, where was ALPA when we gave the company a 1for 1 block hour agreement for expeess. This alone has represented the biggest loss of jobs at UAL and we have our MEC chairman's signature on the agreement. Too bad the leadership of our union was too busy attempting to secure there own perks they forgot about the rest of us.
