The Midwest pilots tried to get all Skyway pilots added to our seniority list.

Thanks for remembering.

Midwest was only offered the E170 rate ... Captains top out at like $87 per hour. TPG/BB want that rate for E190 flying too.

Remember that these are just my opinions and I have no say in the outcome of any of this, Im just a $37 CHQ FO.

I am one of those guys and well you make $37 per hour more than I do now. Unfortunately, I too am just along for the ride, but it looks like my ride just stopped and I have to get off after 13+ years. I hope somehow something works out, but things are not looking peachy for the Midwest group. Many will NEVER see another aircraft. Many will be out of aviation, forever.

Yes, the E170 & 175/190 have different CA rates.

I did not know that MEH management asked Midwest pilots to accept only the E170 rates.

I misunderstood your post...my bad!

How many pilots were furloughed on the date of the aquisition?

Not sure if this is a honest thanks or a scarastic one. Why didn't it happen? Why did SKW get the flying over the skyway guys keeping it?

I dont remember getting any offers from YX. Only thing we got was $25 gift certificate for J crew. I believe TPG owns J crew? I dont know what went on behind the curtain but that was the only thing that was offered to skyway pilots. Then again, why did most YX pilots were afraid that they were next to get on a chopping board? Staple? Thanks but i dont believe it.

Bear, you're absolutely correct. Some of them will be much better off too if they can transition to stable employment and put the miserable emotional roller coaster ride you've just gotten on behind them. Good luck working for these people.

Katana? What did you get with the J. Crew gift certificate? and if it cost less than $25 did they give you cash back so you could buy food or clothes for your kids, or did they issue a store credit?

I don't know why Skywest was brought in. All I know is the Midwest pilots offered a LOA to add all current and fourloughed Skyway pilots onto our seniority list. TH said, No.
