Not sure what the UA contract say but if your contract allows it, it will be done. Sad but true

The problem is that it looks like UA pilots and AL pilots won't have say in it and with half the pay.
FlightPod TV did their first episode on this issue, if you haven't seen it, check it out: http://flightpod.tv/episodes/59%C2%A0 BTW, ALL of FlightPod's content is worth watching/listening. Add it to iTunes! |

"including that no tattoos, body piercings or tongue rings are visible in the Aer Lingus Uniform. Tattoos may not be covered with adhesive bandages or by other methods, to render them not visible." If this cancer is allowed to spread we shall all soon see it in "our" own backyards. |
Ok I got it now. I didn't know anything about a joint venture deal or the politics of this whole thing and no I don't live under a rock. I just don't know the internal politics of every airline in the world.
Here's some debate on the subject. http://www.pprune.org/rumours-news/3...n-forever.html |

Cheaper labor and operating costs. Just like the US outsourcing labor to China and India. Now the US had become the new cheap place for labor.
Afterall... how many crews can you be talking about versus the bigger issue is UAL, DAL, AA, etal outsourcing flying to the regionals. |

My non-US airline has hired FA's in New York, to be based there. Don't some US airlines have non-US FA's in Japan?

I have zero sympathy for them. :p That's what weak and inept leadership will do for you. |
