Latest Rumor is that the bid which included PDX as a new base has been cancelled and may be re-issued with different numbers. It would be nice if the total increased (as in some recalls) too.

It's not a rumor. It's on the pilot web page, under bulletins. There is no change to the number of positions.

I talked to GB. Their current plan is no recalls for summer.

(of course their plan seems to change daily.)

Unless, of course, the wheels start fall off the proverbial wagon early enough in the summer that they can still pull some guys off the street in time.

Not necessarily. Just not right now. Things can and will change. I think it is safe to say even management doesn't know what's going on. Just look at how they bungled up the PDX base bid.
