Hey Ally,

Just pokin fun. I actually remember Sun Country from the old days and enjoyed working with them. Funny how the old days are only 10-15 years ago now.

There are some routes the B-737 wasn't meant to fly; and this is most definately one of them. Tech stops in both directions? Jeez...

Absolutely fantastic airline to jumpseat on. Great customer service for booking on the phone, great gate agents, great flight crews, everyone a class act. Many a very comfortable and stressless ride to work and home thanks to Sun Country. If you have a Sun Country guy looking for a ride, hook 'em up.

Totally and completely off topic, but I'm just saying.

ATA used to stop in Gander all the time w/ L10's to/from MCO MAN & LGW. USed to get a free bottle of booze after the fill-up. "Newfy's" are great! Haven't forgotten what they did for us on 9/11.

not to pick a fight, but Sandford... i mean Orlando Sanford is doing pretty well at attracting foreigners. Maybe it works both ways?

Or like calling Ontario, CA, Los Angeles, CA. It's at least an hour from the beach.

This will work real well until weather, mx, etc etc, canx's a flight and the pax are stranded at Stansted for a couple of days. All of a sudden, that cheap ticket to fly on a airport-hopping 737 cattle car won't seem like a good deal when it costs an extra $500 to spend two more days in London.

What could possibly go wrong?
While neither airport is within the city center of London it takes just as long to get to the city center from EGSS as it does from EGLL via the Stansted Express. In fact... it's more convenient from EGSS than from EGLL.

Also rarely does one hold going into EGSS... speaking from experience operating at all airports in the London area.

Cambridge is a better layover city than London... especially during the summer.

Actually, they will. Stopped there a number of times in a previous life, they were always out to meet the plane and pax. Spent about a week there after September 11th as well - all the positive things said about the Newfies are true and many more. While I doubt this will fare well, I hope that it will just for the Newfies sake - the world should have more people like them.
