Default Who owns Sun Country now?

I thought the guy who owned Sun Country had put it up for sale as he was going to the big house.

Currently furloughed from the Country Club right now, and from what Limited info I get, they just got ETOPS certification but before they can do any big military contracts over the pond, they have to get a year of ETOPS flying under their belt. I think they are just trying to break even on this stuff, or not loose too much money while trying to get this box checked, (My guess).

They made money last year and are supposed to exit Chap 11 in the next few months so we will see. Again I don't get too much info so take it for what it's worth.

Seems a rather inefficient way to move troops across the pond at 162 at a time.

Trust me, Uncle Sam doesn't care about efficiency. Whether it is effective is the measure they go by.

Better yet - stranded at Gander.

Nobody ever thinks about that when they buy their ticket. They will get what they pay for.

I'm pretty sure you won't see many military charters at Sun Country on this route... Just goin out on a limb here.
