In addition to all 737s....HUDs, RNP, Row 44 In-flight internet, Near International (Mexico and Canada), along with Hawaii. Not too much route overlap as well.

SWA better come with a big check to make that happen... there will be a bidding war, and it will be huge.

Anyone ever think that maybe DAL and AS upped the poison pill if anyone buys AS and terminates the code share?

That alone would allow AS to stay independent and DAL to keep their feed. The agreement with DAL does not allow for any added code share. It let AS keep the feed to AMR as it was with no increase for something like a JAL flight from PDX to NRT. This code share with an increased poison pill would be a great deterrent.

Alaska is no longer going with Row 44.

So...back to the thread. Why was there a SWAPA M&A member at the hearing prepared to testify on behalf of the RAH IBT(and conferencing with RAH IBT at every break), but telling FAPA members he was there to observe only?

Skyteam... Oneworld... Star Alliance.. SWA is alone in the big scheme of things... and that's chump change.
