Dont forget, some of the top brass at Jet Blew were former and/or close to People's Express thinkers earlier in life. PEX was the orriginal "fraternity that owned an airline". In more ways than one, peoples management lead the race to the basement in this industry.

I mean to say, how arrogant! As if to say, "there is no way there could be a qualified pilot out there not known by or friends with one of our pilots..."

Got mine earlier tonight for next week. Using internal recs is smart. Think about it - not many pilots will recommend pilots that aren't quality people and good pilots too.

It just goes to show how America works. The "GOOD OLD BOY'S" network starts in kindergarden all the way through Harvard. One only wanders if there are any smart, hard working people out there, that can get a chance to present themselves without knowing a "GOOD OLD BOY".......

Sincerely yours,

Smart, Hard working Pilot... Kept out by the "The Good Old Boys"...

Last night I tried to click the link to start the invitation process. It said, "Survey closed. Thank you for your interest!" Anyone else have this?

That could be a reference to any Legacy carrier.
