Default FDX Open trips not in Open time

Does anyone know why a trip would be open but not in open time? I noticed this trip two days ago and I've been watching since. MD-11 Trip 630/2 Oct. It shows no F/O but it is not in open time. How is that possible? And does that mean there are lots of trips floating around that are really open?

Multiple trips in the Boeing that are being assigned to reserves that were never in Open Time, some folks given 20+ hrs of notice.

Why don't you call CRS and ask?

This needs to be forwarded to the union.

CRS will not give us the right answer.

But it would be nice to have an answer from CRS (with a name) to forward to the union.

The last contract was supposed to have fixed that so CRS stopped hiding unfilled trips from OT. Concur, you should ask CRS then contact the Union.

Trips that are in the "daily assignment process" are not shown as open even though they are. Look below the trips to see which seats are in red lettering. Otherwise, they are supposed to be shown as open.

That doesn't appear to be an issue with the original poster's trip. When I looked at these this morning, there were trips open and displayed for 1 Oct and 3 Oct, but the Oct 2 trip in question was not listed, not even as frozen. It appears that it is a line check and training schedulers are holding it back.

Looks like there were some issues with this. MD-11 just opened about 10 trips as LCA trips.... HMMMM

What is LCA trip? Never seen that. One is an airport standby even for an FO.

Must be a typo--LCA on a stby.
