Default Concerned with Delta Application

I noticed that the application program does not take into account the new first class medical being valid for 1 year. Mine was 8/09 and it reverted to a 2 class on the app. and I dont think the computer will let the recruiters see my app. How do i handle this?

I emailed airline apps re this, it will disqualify lots of us under 40, with a valid first class over 6 months, and less than 1 year.

Default Take Initiative

Renew your Medical. Knowing how software development, testing, implementation and bugs go, why not play it safe and just renew the medical.

of course, I could be wrong.

Can you get a new medical & update your app?

Just change the issue date to 6 months after the original issue date and explain it at the interview when the dates don't match if you get selected. I would imagine it's a known issue with Airline Apps.

if you really want to work at Delta then it is probably worth $100 to get a current 1st class medical. No?

It is, but mine is current! When do they plan on interviewing so I can schedule a new medical before?

Apparently August at the earliest. They need to see how many of our furlough bypass guys want to come back, and when, and also the Compass flow thing. If I were you, and you want to fly for DAL, be ready to roll Aug 1st.

You guys are starting to sound like the SWA pilots. If you really want to work at Southwest, spend the $8,000 on the type. Never mind the fact that you have an 80 percent chance of blowing $8,000 for nothing.
