I'm unable to answer your question but just was curious how much time you have. I'm in the same situation, total and 121 turbine, just no turbine PIC and no 737 experience. Just was wondering what sort of ballpark figure you found to be competitive.

To be 737 FO competitive, you need to have way less time that the Dornier captains that already work there.

I have 2850 total time with 500 jet and a citation type rating. No part 121 (all 135). What are your totals?

Anyone mind sharing where the 737 pilots are based. I have heard miami and gulfport... is this correct.

CEFO, do you know the CP because those numbers don't really seem competitive. And that's what I've also heard about pilot basing although it would seem like the best possible person to answer that would have been the CP himself.

No, I don't know the CP personally. I picked up the phone, and he actually spoke to me and seemed like a nice guy. I was surprised too. My plan was just to throw my hat in the ring and see what happened. I was told 2-3000 total with a jet PIC type rating would be competitive.

I have not heard anything back and I have not followed up for a few months. Time for a call to see if anything is happening with the application!

I just find Vision to be an interestingly diverse company. The 737's seem to pop up everywhere, but you don't hear much about them otherwise. Anyhow, appreciate all the info, and when you get PM abilities, I'll definitely have a few more questions for you if you don't mind.

Sure and you can apply right on the Vision website.

737 pilot bases are MIA, GPT and AEX. AEX is the junior base.
