His point is, based on productivity, mainline jets should pay more.

Military is not training pilots like they did in your day. Sure, a drone operator is a "pilot" but I'm not sure Delta will hire you with 60 hours flight time and 10,000 hours behind a Panasonic Toughbook.

Getting a military flight spot in this generation is 98% timing, 1% gender and 1% being the smartest most motivated guy in the class.

Pretty sure the military has plenty of C5's, C17's, C130's, P-3's, and on and on that arent in danger of being replaced by drones anytime soon.

I believe one of those aircraft already is being replaced by a UAV.

Those are being flown by guys on furlough bypass & mil leave until they can hold left seat on the 737.

Closest I'll come to something painted primer gray is hearing the stories in between performing walk arounds for my 15 year "high mins" Captain

I'm not saying it isn't a great deal. It just isn't a deal if Uncle Sugar has too many pilots when a guy is in college. Even Academy guys are not getting flight spots right now.

Heyas Clamp,

He gets to keep the job. You don't even need to be a pilot.

The trick is to find someone who DOESN'T want the job, and that's the guy you want to keep. Unfortunately, we haven't had one of those since Clancy Sayen.

Wow. That's pretty sad that our bylaws have that big of loopholes and are so conducive to what it has become.

Would the ALPA supporters please explain how supporting 500 hours of flight time benefits any pilot in the whole industry. I already knew they didn't represent our interest. No employed 121 pilot should now be happy with ALPA. Everyone please wake up and support an alternative. Who again is on the correct side of the argument? Independent unions!

As soon as they are, I would be a-sweatin' profusely if'n I were a FedEx pilot.
