Photo of new United livery

A photographer took this today and posted it on a.net. Just thought I'd share. Please keep merger discussion out of this thread.

I don't dislike this look...but I still don't have a concise opinion on how I feel about it.

Too strange to comment on.... I for one liked the Continental brand, they should have stuck with the name and logo instead of this weird combination thing.

Pretty boring. The United font should be different. Perhaps some more color on the fuselage. Dress up the paint on the winglets. Best of luck to those that work there.

All that comes to mind is the cheer "U-G-L-Y you ain't got no alibi, you ugly!"

The font is all wrong.

It will be fun to hear the confusion on the radio with them using the Continental call sign but saying " In United Colors" when it is really just Continental colors with a United name and the United guys getting confused for Continental because they are saying United but the jet looks like a Continental Jet. FWIW, I always liked the CAL paint so I think it looks good.

I don't think it's quite "ugly," but it is somewhat undignified. The Continental tail is classy, as is the white on gray paint scheme. But the whole "United" thing honestly looks like it was done by a middle school kid using photoshop. The font is just too plain and blah.
