Fish,

I have no problem with the Virgin guys and regularly have them on my Jumpseat. What I do have a problem with is when one of them indicates that I'm asking for too much money in my contract and should be grateful to have a job, (and profit sharing).

Just like anywhere else there's a 5-10% a-hole factor at every airline. Doesn't matter who you fly for your bound to run into one of them eventually.

Stick to what you know Mr. "Putz" and stay out of my sandbox.

Lemme know how many RJ drivers are making a buck twenty an hour?

Qx will no longer have RJ's as of May. They were sold to Skywest to do flying for Alk.

We have many qx'ers trying to get on with Virgin despite the pay. Something about working for a company that might have a future.

I fly the RJ for JetBlue. My 6 year pay is $132 an hour and my premium is $200 an hour over 78 hours. I like my little RJ.

Not too long ago your 12 years captian pay was $88 an hour. It was your pay that was used in court to show the judge how over paid comair pilots were. Funny how things change.

Funny how people forget, then proceed to judge.

I know that you know that the 190 is not an RJ, unfortunately some are flying it for substandard RJ wages. Not to worry though, they have some of the worst work rules in the industry. And they're teamsters..

sad

Why is it not an RJ ? Is it a jet? Does it fly in a region? Can it fly transcon?

Point taken, think about the DC-9 or 80 series though.

Would you prefer that the 190 be flown by a regional partner or mainline?

Compare JB and RAH rates on 190.

The aircraft does not impress me, but I would be happy to fly it for JB rates and terms.
