ALPA gets CrewPass done
#31
Volunteering is good... on the other hand becoming the "indocrinated" and knowing nothing but how to tote the ALPA line has been their doing in. Remember this took 3 ALPA presidents and 10 years...

Guys,
I believe this is an April Fools joke in very poor taste. A few minutes of research on TSA, ALPA and ATA websites revealed no public statements or press release about the approval of CrewPASS for airline pilots. If this was indeed a true story it would make front page news on all these sites as well a the major news sites too.
If anyone has any proof of this claim please provide the verification.
alfaromeo, any comment?

Oh, that's right...they just volunteer behind the keyboard!

Seriously, though, it took an awful lot of work to get something that you and I would view as "simple" done. Imagine getting ATA, TSA, and ALPA logos on a a single letterhead, and that's just the day before the House R's and ATA put a knife into FTDT to serve their monied best interests.
I'm looking forward to your picture in the "thong".

Seriously, who do you think was driving the bus on this? You think the TSA or ATA came to ALPA and asked them to come on board? The entire plan and impetus came from ALPA and the others were convinced to come on board.

Maybe it is you that has been brainwashed by your negativity and lack of effort. Why is it that you have to try to make your point by attacking other people? Do you believe that you do a good job at work, do you believe that Delta tries to run a safe operation, do you believe that the the work you and fellow pilots do run a cut above what's required? Have you been brainwashed by Delta or have you just observed reality? Give me a break, not all of us are so weak minded that we have to have others tell us what to think.

How many AQFO's did it take?

I do participate, however I don't tow the party line and I'm younger than most so I must not know what I'm doing. That seems to be the usual response around that shiny building north of the airport.
It was obviously not a simple task... can you point out to me where I said that? I'll be waiting. I did point out the political rhetoric and patting onself on the back that is absolutely constant amongst the alpaoids.

Do we have any details on when we will be able to use this yet? I remember, I think, that with CrewPass we were going to be able:
1) Use it when commuting off line.
2) Use it when not in uniform?
Any rumors?

As far as your questions:
I try to do a good job at work, Delta tries to run a safe but cost effective operation, and most guys/gays I fly with run a cut above what's required. Note the wording.
Whoops, you just made my point...
And yes, those deep on the inside do become entreched and in a sense brainwashed and consider that their reality. It is frustrating seeing that reality.
