Jeez, something good happens and people get all hostile about ALPA. I'm indoctrinated, not obsessively obedient, and believe they serve a purpose. They're a tool to accomplish job-oriented goals. That's it. Not every tool is perfect for every issue, and some are completed easier than others.

Nothing new about that...

So who started it? IPA or ALPA?

CASS was started by IPA after 9/11. Without CASS, we would not have this "almost" crew pass.

As far as your questions:
I try to do a good job at work, Delta tries to run a safe but cost effective operation, and most guys/gays I fly with run a cut above what's required. Note the wording.

Whoops, you just made my point...

And yes, those deep on the inside do become entreched and in a sense brainwashed and consider that their reality. It is frustrating seeing that reality.
Okay, I get it, anyone who disagrees with you is brainwashed and entrenched. Maybe some day they will be blessed with your grand enlightenment. Is it tough getting your head through the door of the cockpit?

I read the test phase is being expanded to 7 more airports for 3 months. I'm under the impression there is no plan in place after that.

Yes.

It's tough not because his head is large, as you're alluding too, but that his head is attached to his body which is holding a wide guitar while being caressed, possibly fondled, by the plethora of persistent girls he attracts.

I frankly don't know how he moves up and down the concourse.

For any of you losers who wish to be more like 80, I present to you 80ktsclamp's "Learning Guitar to Get Laid"

The most important lesson to learn, is your not 80, and you never will be.

But remember, tap on the guitar.
