Ladies!?

It's also the singing for me - that makes for a complete package (maybe the big wallet too)...

Can you hold a puppy too, while you are performing?

Also, its funny the immediate "me too" that came from RA for the Delta stews.

You wait. Management will play this one to the max.
They will go all out to portray themselves as defenders of the flt attendants.
It wouldn't surprise me to see them cause some sort of delay in the implementation.
This is an easy, no-cost battle they can fight on behalf of the stews to show them they don't really need a union. Absolutely perfect opportunity to be benevolent. Delta management standing shoulder to shoulder along side the oppressed FAs for truth, justice and the American way.

"Trust us, girls. We've got your back. Who needs that useless, expensive AFA."

I think it's great CrewPass is moving forward. The only thing that frustrates me is that there will be a 90 day testing period. It's been tested for 3+ years already. Why does it have to be tested again? If they say it can be implemented quickly, why do we have to test more? Maybe I'm missing something?

From what I heard they canned the vendor that was demanding the huge rollout costs for CrewPass that we were all debating about for the last year ("Who should pay for it"). New software was developed at a much lower cost...but because its new, the previous tests don't count.

Agree totally on your union take, but with the most complaints in 2010, and second from the bottom in 2011 not to mention the terrible on time rates, RA needs a unified policy for all crew members...it will not work well when the pilots can get there on time and the FAs are working their way through the security line.

That is the response of someone that has done the work, and enjoys flying the line more.

So what's keeping him from going back to the line?

Oh BTW, where is SWAPA, CAPA, APA or IPA in this release? It is a government press release that states ALPA. If that does not mean anything to you, then I do not know what will.

Point is ALPA did this. That is your dues dollars at work.

Seems to me that they are the smart ones.. they don't have to pay to bribe the gubbamint, yet they will be able to take advantage of this... all the while using their dues money for their immediate interests... Kind of like that guy that goes to the head of the line on the shoulder when traffic is backed up. You hate his ass, but he will be at home drinking a cold one long before you will.. so who's the smart one again?

This would be a chance for the AFA to prove that it can accomplish something useful for it's members. I doubt that they could do it, though...

Now that is spin!

They get the benefit because they are airline pilots. What would it say about ALPA to make this exclusive? ALPA getting this done show the benefit of our union its pull to all of the other independents. It took 10 year, all have tried and only ALPA working with the ATA and the DHS got this done. Great on them. It is our due dollars at work.

Stating that they need to be worried about something more important is so fricken typical. A few months ago people were screaming that ALPA needed to get this done to show true value. They have and now everyone is acting very ungrateful. It illustrates the biggest issue this union and this country face. (Its all about me)
