iPhone would not exist without 3Com, Palm, Handspring. I've been looking at my schedule on my phone for at least 10 years, what do I win?

That's it exactly George. Let somebody else do the work of checking to see what needs to be updated and keeping the files current. After setting it up, all the user needs to do is push a single sync button.
Now, when I got my iPad a few weeks ago I figured I'd be updating my pubs on it anyway, so why not volunteer to be the 737 guy on iPubs...
...This isn't about iPad versus Android. It's about an easy way to keep pubs current.

TYG, did you get your problem solved or are you still having trouble? SugarSync seems to go down a lot and cause problems. Most guys report that it takes several attempts to get the initial sync completed with no explanation for why one time it fails and the next it works fine. The iALPA Jedi and iPubs Admin is talking to the SugarSync folks to try and find the answer but it appears to be a SugarSync problem. There is a bunch of info on the DALPA forum about this. I'm not very computer savvy unfortunately.
Im not Savvy with computers, but I was able to download the 756 recently..My internet was "slow" so I went to Starbucks, believe it or not, and sync'd..It finally worked

Glad it's working for you George. MF's Study Guide is there. It's in the Training Folder titled 737N Study Guide. I will be moving it out of the Training Folder to a new Gouge Folder however. The feeling is that any "unofficial" stuff should be maintained in a gouge folder so I'll be moving soon. I head out for a trip tomorrow and that's when I do most of the updates. I welcome any other suggestions you have!

Log on to dal.alpa.org and make your way to the Social Media link and from there to the Forums. After you finally navigate all of the ALPA disclaimer BS and you make it to the forums you will find a Computer/Hi-Tech forum. In there is a thread titled iPubs for iPad 777, etc with the username/password.

From the head iPubs Admin:
iPubs Lite is launched for 747, A330 and A320 Fleets and contains all "Plane" documents and MEL where available. By joining iPath, iPeople, iPlane, iALPA and your Fleet folder, even with the Lite version, you will have access to many valuable documents with one button sync to your iPad. Once we get Jedi volunteers for the 747, A330, A320 and DC-9, we will add functionality.
Detailed instructions can be found at:
www.ipubs.me
----------------------------------------------------------
SugarSync servers had a bad week. Many sync problems while there servers were down ("503:service unavailable" errors). They are vowing to fix. Thanks to RC and a couple others for coaching iPubs users through the sync problems on the other iPubs thread. There are about 350 iPubs users now, and most are reporting reliable syncing when on a relatively fast wireless internet connection. As we get smarter, hopefully we will resolve the syncing frustrations that are occurring.
-------------------------------------------------------------
The feedback you all are providing is incredibly valuable in shaping the future vision of Delta's corporate version of iPubs. Please email XXXX with your ideas ... How is iPubs helping? What apps are invaluable to you? What bugs you about referencing documents in GoodReader? What tips have you learned to speed access to information on your iPad?

Palm came 9 years after the Apple Newton, Apple's first handheld OS. Where does that leave me now? Look, I'm not an Apple fanboy but you gotta give them credit where credit is due, the iPhone has been a major paradigm shift. Competition is good, better for the end user, I'm glad Google is giving Apple a run for its money, it's just making them produce better stuff. You missed the mark making this an OS battle. iPubs does something your standard OS doesn't do. That's all. Not saying it's better.
I actually still have it in the basement. The Tandy Zoomer was Marketed by Tandy (Radio Shack), made by Casio, and ran on Palm computing software. Didn't do to well but palm was able to make it through the next few years by marketing their synchronization software for Hp devices, and the Graffiti handwriting reconition software for the Apple Newton MessagePad.

Palm was acquired by US Robotics in 1995. At that point Palm was able to launch many sucessful devices.

On Deltanet, look for a link from DT on how to get to icrew with a smartphone. You need to use Dolphin and make sure you follow the directions EXACTLY on how to configure the user agent. Works good on the EVO. The only thing I haven't been able to do though is look at open time.
